Events Calendar 2024

When The Diocese built a replacement parish church, The Church of the Good Shepherd on Church Balk in Edenthorpe in 1978, it declared St. Oswald’s Church redundant. This meant that in future all church ceremonies, especially weddings and christenings, would take place in the new church. Anyone wanting to discuss such a ceremony should contact The Rector of Kirk Sandall and Edenthorpe on 01302 882861.

Under certain circumstances it might be possible to use St. Oswald’s Church and anyone wanting to enquire about this should contact The Church Conservation Trust. Marketing Officer for the Northern region email north@thecct.org.uk.

Most of the events shown below are free unless otherwise stated and some activities will suit children. There is a small charge for refreshments, which goes towards the upkeep of St Oswald's and any donations to the Friends of St Oswald's would be most welcome.

Any enquiries concerning the events on this calendar should be directed to the secretary of the Friends of St Oswald's.
